What's New
Welcome to The Best of Brazil! Saudade do Paulo, the brand new Biscoito Fino album by Carlos Malta and Cliff Korman featuring the music of Paulo Moura, tops our New Releases section. We have full details plus a sample track. That section now features 203 Brazilian music albums — all with sample tracks. Other recent additions include Roberto Montero's Todos os Tempos; Natalie Cressman and Ian Faquini; Lado B Brazilian Project 2 by Catina DeLuna and Otmaro Ruiz; and Antonio Adolfo's Carnaval: The Songs Were So Beautiful. The latest addition to our Beyond Brazil section is The Jones Factor's not sure. We have complete details and a sample track. That section features 337 albums we recommend from the world of music beyond Brazil, nearly all with sample tracks. Recent additions include Dave Stryker's Blue Fire: The Van Gelder Session; Peter Paulsen TurksHeadKnot Quintet's Would'a...Could'a...Should'a...; Jeff Dingler's How About You?; and Ted Rosenthal Trio's Classics Reimagined: Impromp2. Brazilian Playground, an excellent compilation of Brazilian children's music, is the latest addition to our Audio Archives section. Our 23-minute review of the album was originally broadcast October 17, 2007. When you visit the Archives, you can listen to extended features on 221 Brazilian albums, features on 38 Beyond Brazil albums, interviews, tributes to musicians and composers, and much more. Thanks for visiting this website. We hope you'll take a few minutes to explore our features, listen to some sample tracks, and dig into our archives (you can always return to this page by clicking on our logo at the top of every page). As always, if you like what you find here, please tell your friends about it. Thanks!
