The Best of Brazil
 What's New
Welcome! We've added a new jazz album to our Beyond Brazil section: bassist David Finck's Low Standards includes two Brazilian tunes, Brigas nunca mais and Pra dizer adeus. We've chosen the first as our sample track, and we have all the details about the album. Our Beyond Brazil section now features 142 recommended albums from the world of music beyond Brazil—nearly all with sample tracks. Recent additions include: The Harry Warren Songbook by Doug Munro and La Pompe Attack; Jim Buennig's It's Like This; Jihye Lee Orchestra's April; and Chris Rogers' Voyage Home. The most recent addition to our Audio Archives section is our feature on Luiz Paulo Simas' Cafuné, originally broadcast October 3, 2007. When you visit the Archives, you can listen to extended features on 169 Brazilian music albums—plus interviews, memorial tributes and more. Sandy Cressman's Entre Amigos tops our New Releases section. We have complete information and a sample track from her album and 113 others. Recent additions to that section include Cosmos by Ricardo Silveira and John Leftwich; Relíquia by Clarice and Sergio Assad; Carla Hassett's +Blue; and Marcos Amorim's Sea of Tranquility. Thanks for stopping by. Please take a little time to explore this website (you can always return to this page by clicking on our logo at the top of every page). As always, if you like what you find here, please tell your friends about it. Thanks!
